Gary Medel wanted at Anfield


Reports has it that Liverpool have had a bid rejected for Inter Milan midfielder Gary Medel. Jurgen Klopp seems to be showing interest on the midfielder, who starred for Chile as they won this summer's Copa America Centenario.

The 29-year-old midfielder has Premier League experience having spent the 2013-14 season at Cardiff. Medel has spent the last two seasons at Inter, where he has made 78 appearances and scored one goal.

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has avowed making this season the most productive of his career to date after scoring two goals in the Reds' resounding 4-3 win at Arsenal on Sunday.
In his words, Coutinho said: “Yes, I think I can score more this season,”. “I always said that the one thing I really needed to improve was to score more goals.

“I did that last season and now I want to keep on improving. The most important thing is the group. But the more goals I score, the more I can help the team."

In another development, Sadio Mane is out to put a smile on Liverpool faces – and has already started with his boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Liverpool manager gave Mane a boost as they celebrated after the winger netted an amazing solo fourth goal for the Reds.

The debut victory made it a beautiful start for Mane following his £34m summer move to Anfield from Southampton.

 “Jurgen was happy. That’s all. I am really happy to score my first Premier League goal for Liverpool.

“I hope I will continue to find pleasure and give pleasure on the pitch too.”Mane said.
