Rio Wrestling: Oborududu, Adekuoroye Sent Packing
The wrestling match which were held at Carioca Arena in Rio has seen Blessing Oborududu and Odunayo Adekuoroye eliminated from the games on Thursday as the duo failed to redeem the pride of the Nigerian Wrestling team at the Olympic after losing in the round of 16 in their respective events.
Oborodudu flost 3-1 to Mongolia’s first female gold medallist of the World Wrestling Championships Battsetseg Soronzonbold in the 63kg event, while Adekuoroye, 22, fell 5-0 to Sofia Mattsson of Sweden.
