Igali assists Guinea Bissau

The President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali,is reaching out to Guinea Bissau’s wrestling team in the Rio 2016 Olympics. Igali, who is the coach of the Nigerian wrestlers at the Games, was approached for help by Team Guinea.
In his words, “They approached me and we have been training together. It’s a helping hand to a sisterly African country. There is nothing to be afraid of. Our wrestlers are compact and doing well. They only want me to look in and offer necessary help. It is a normal thing and I believe that is the Olympic spirit.”
The Athlete who is an Olympic gold medal champion for Canada at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, went further to say, “Our athletes are in good condition and they’re raring to go. The arrival of their training partners has buoyed their confidence. We need the prayers of Nigerians for everything to go well for them.” Team Canada on also extended assistance to Nigeria as their wrestling team donated items to the Nigerian wrestling team.
“I’m happy that they are always with me by extending love and affection with these gifts. It has become a routine. At all the Games, they always extend this gesture to me. I am indeed grateful to them.” he added.
