A Mourning Family Use Public Bus To Convey The Corpse Of The Dead, Bizarre Moment For Passengers

It was indeed a bizarre moment for bus passengers in northern Argentinian province of Tucuman on Monday.

The commuters had ran into a mess as they stood around a coffin after a mourning family were forced to take the corpse of the deceased on a public transport following the breakdown of their vehicle on a bridge between the provincial capital San Miguel de Tucuman and nearby Alderetes where the funeral was due to take place.

Passengers filmed the extraordinary moment . Hector Jimenez’s body was laid on the floor of the municipal vehicle while the bus took his family to the cemetery.

Meanwhile, driver’s attempts to solve the mechanical problem proved abortive and the unnamed company was unable to provide a replacement vehicle. The coffin was lifted onto the bus via a back door.

Teresa Brandan Martinez, Hector’s cousin  took to her  Facebook to air her fury at what happened.

Her post read: “This happened on Monday when we were paying our last respects to our cousin.

“What sh***y company takes your money and then leaves you stranded at the side of the road!!

“What a brilliant bus driver to let us board his vehicle with the coffin.

“My cousin didn’t deserve this. He was an excellent person.”
