Tension Mounts, Davido Lands N7m Concert Fee Dispute

Music artiste Davido, popularly known as O.B.O who was named among the artistes to perform at the Festival of India, which took in Lagos on Saturday, was vividly absent. The organisers of the show made it clear that Davido was duly invited.

Sources disclosed that the contract between the Festival of India and the artiste could run into N7m.
Reports also says that Davido informed them on Friday night, a day to the event, that he was indisposed to grace the event.
However, the organisers have accordingly communicated Davido’s lawyers on Thursday (yesterday) night,as they hope to get a refund of the fee said to have been paid for the star's gig.

News media says all efforts to speak with the artiste or his manager proved abortive as a call to his manager’s phone number and a subsequent text message had not been replied as of 8pm production time on the show night.
