Bakare Throws Weight Behind The Change Mantra

The founder and Senior pastor of Later Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakere has urged Nigerians to refrain from referring to the change agenda of President Muhammadu as chain. He made this plea on Friday at the presidential villa where he went to pay homage to the president .

Bakare, who is a close ally and past running mate to Buhari in 2011 presidential election made a call on all Nigerians to exercise patience with the current administration, saying the hard times would be past tense in no time. While assuring that the maxim of change which is the slogan of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC would not translate to chain for the people.

He added that Nigeria had drifted from its positive direction in the past and needed some conscious efforts to fix it. Which he says would require some time to manifest.
