A victim of an attack by Fulani herdsmen on Saturday narrates ordeal. In his words... Fulani struck this morning on my way to the office along Obajana -kabba road. Two Fulani pointed gun on me and the other two at the rear .I stop a while and now use reverse to run the battle of my life.In the process ,one of the Fulani men used his long stick with knive to stab me on my right hand.I ran to road safety office to get first aid treatment. Thank God for the doctors and nurses that were at the federal road safety office at kabba junction to give me a comprehensive treatment.I had five stitches on my right hand.The question is Fulani has a poisonous knive that when pierced into the body is dangerous. I have taken tatanus injection but my fear of their poisonous knife. I used to have regard for Fulani but my respect to them has seize hence forth as they commit most of these atrocities on highways. Former chairman House of Reps Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has written to the 360 members of the House, to pressurize Speaker Yakubu Dogara and three others he accused of padding the 2016 budget to resign. This coming bearly few days to resumption of House of Representatives sittings, This surfacing just three weeks after Jibrin submitted his petition against the quartet to Presidential Advisory Committee on Corruption headed by Prof. Itse Sagay. A child who was terminally ill  has become the first child in Belgium to be euthanised since age restrictions on such doctor-assisted dying in the country were lifted in 2014.The change was made in Belgian law in 2014 after a heated debate to offer the possibility of euthanasia to children "in a hopeless medical situation of constant and unbearable suffering that cannot be eased and which will cause death in the short term.” In the week that was, the head of the national committee for euthanasia confirmed the first case was reported to him by a local doctor though he would not give any details about the minor, he described it as an exceptional case of a child with a terminal illness. A Kindergarten One pupil Darasimi Ogunwunmi,3, who drank caustic soda carelessly kept around his classroom by teachers of his private school, Fahsal Children’s School, Ilupeju Estate, Idiroko, Ogun State in November 2015, has died. The boy had drank the base when he was thirsty in school and nine months after fighting for his life in agony being unable to swallow either liquid or solid food and six different surgeries at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Darasimi gave up after his last surgical operation on Monday, September 12.The last surgery was another attempt to open up the boy’s stomach and throat which had become damaged by the chemical. Nigeria's  Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has alleged that Nigerians have been unfair to the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari by failing to recognise its strides. The Abia State Police Command has recovered a stolen baby as the Commissioner of police, Mr. Adeleye Oyebade, has rejoined the 15 months old baby with her mother, Miss Chioma Chijindu of No 8 Ohafia Street, Umuahia, the Abia State capital. Chijindu was reportedly drugged by lover, one Lawan Nuhu, before he made away with the baby and other valuables from the house. Parading the suspects at the police headquarters in Umuahia, CP Oyebade disclosed that a combined team of police personnel acting on a tip-off arrested Nuhu together with two other suspects, Lawal Ahmed and Chidinma Johnson at Lokpanta in Umunneochi Local Government Area of the state with the stolen baby. Other items recovered from the suspects were the sum of N170,000, 58 ladies handbags and one Peugeot 307 salon car with Registration Number AZ 166 KWL. Sequel to the tracing of a whooping sum of $15 million deposited in Skye Bank using names of domestic maids and driver, the wife to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience Jonathan  has disclosed that she was using the $15m, which was frozen in four companies’ accounts, to offset her medical bills while abroad. The former firslady, therefore asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and Skye Bank to lift the restriction on the accounts. Mrs Jonathan reportedly made this demand in a letter with reference number GA/Abibo/00226/2016, written by her lawyers, Granville Abibo (SAN) and Co, which was addressed to the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu. Ifeanyi Azodo, Nollywood actor was reportedly nabbed by the police in Onitsha for alleged robbery. The Area Commander of Onitsha Police Area Command, Abubarkar Yahaya, has confirmed the arrest of Nollywood Actor, Ifeanyi Azodo to press. In his statement: “There was a case against him and we just invited him to make statement and we released him on bail because it is a ‘bailable’ offence. “If you want details of the matter, then go to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO). The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has debunked the rummours making rounds on all media platforms that the Federal Government, under President Muhammadu Buhari, is persecuting former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience. The minister said this in Oro, Kwara State, on Tuesday while speaking with newsmen, stating that it would be wrong to say that the Federal Government was probing Jonathan or Patience. The Lagos State Police Command has nabbed an undergraduate, Ademola Adebayo, for allegedly defrauding seven ladies he met on  Facebook. Reports has it that Adebayo, 26, allegedly deceive ladies by uploading luxurious pictures on the site and requesting them to meet him at a hotel for a deal. It was gathered that the suspect often disposseses them of their valuables on arrival to the agreed place and was arrested after one of his victims entered a swift  report to the police. According to sahara reportes, a 45-year-old Nigerian based in Pretoria, South Africa, Abiodun Israel Banjo has been arrested by officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for possessing parcels of drugs at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. On the authority of a statement issued on Monday, Sept. 12th by NDLEA spokesman, Mitchell Ofoyeju, the arrest took place during the outward screening of passengers on a South African Airline flight to South Africa. The parcels of drugs tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 3.435kgs with an estimated street value of N31 million in Nigeria NDLEA Commander, Ahmadu Garba narrated how the drug was discovered stating that during a routine luggage check, NDLEA agents noticed that Mr. Banjo's two bags contained methamphetamine concealed under clothing and food items.
