Jidenna Theodore Mobisson, known professionally as Jidenna, is a Nigerian-American recording artist signed to Wondaland Records. In 2015, Jidenna released two singles, "Classic Man" and "Yoga", promoting the label's compilation EP The Eephus. The 31-year-old Classic man paid a visit to his former primary school in Enugu state- Justine-Thomas Kindergarten and Primary school. Staff and students were thrilled as it was a highly emotive moment to have their own trace back his root after the conquest of shooting into prominence in the music world. Jidenna  was nostalgic as he remembered how he played in sand during his early years in the school. He remarked that the solid foundation the school gave him was instrumental to his success. Rotimi Akeredolu, the former President of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) has won the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state. The primary, which was held at International Event Centre, Dome was contested by 20 aspirants after four others aspirants withdrawn from the race and backed Mr. Segun Abraham. The exercise which was keenly contested Akeredolu, 669, while Abraham scored 635. Akeredolu who lost to incumbent governor Olusegun Mimiko in the 2012 governorship poll will be contesting for governor for the second time. The candidate of the ruling PDP and ex-Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Eyitayo Jegede, is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. The development spells out a stiff contest as two Senior Advocates of Nigeria will go head to head in the November 10 election.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has decried the Saturday’s visit of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing it as a coming together of collaborators in the total extamination of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The governor said it was on record that both Obasanjo and Sheriff collaborated to destroy the All Nigerians Peoples Party (ANPP) and that their meeting today must be to further collaborate to destroy the PDP. According to Mirror UK, Kim Jong-un has executed his  Education Minister by firing squad because the minister did not sit properly during a meeting. The senior North Korean official, Kim Yong-Jin, 63, was shot dead after his ‘bad sitting posture’ in parliament incurred the wrath of the North Korean dictator. More contoversity emerge from the balkanization of the Biafran agitation as three groups from the Niger Delta region and five from the South-East would next month, publicly recognize the leadership of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader and director Radio Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for refusing to compromise the Biafran struggle. The groups subsume : Igbo Women Assembly  Igbo Youth Movement (IYM)  Igbo Students Union  Igbo Traders Association  South-East Christians Network  Niger Delta Youth Congress  Old Eastern Region Movement and  South-East/South-South Youth Congress.
