Mikel Obi Gets Back his $4,600 From The Ministry Sports


After all the denials by  the officials of sports ministry  in Rio de Janeiro that the Team Nigeria captain Mikel Obi paid the hotel bills of the extra persons with the  football team at the Olympics, it has  been confirmed that the money has actually been returned  to the Chelsea footballer.

The national Under-23 team  were hindered from leaving their hotel in Sao Paolo after the game against Colombia on Thursday.

Then news filtered the air waves that Mikel had  paid the bills and the sports ministry publicly debunked it.

However, The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed on its official website on Sunday that the money had been returned to Mikel.

Bakare slams northern elders opposing restructuring

The General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has slammed Northern elders who are opposed to the call for Nigeria’s restructuring. 17 schools connected with terrorism, Turkish Ambassador to Buhari

The Federal Government of Nigeria was on thursday alerted by  Turkish envoy to the existence of schools allegedly owned by suspected terrorists and want them shut down. Turkey said it had officially notified the Nigerian government “to the existence of 17 of such schools in Nigeria, which bear the name of Turkey” but were not owned by the European country. The country said the institutions, which ranged from schools to hospitals, were allegedly owned by the Fethullah Gulen Terrorist Organisation allegedly founded by Fethullah Gulen  The Turkish government, which stated that the country  did not own any school in Nigeria, said similar schools established in Turkey had been shut down.
