Last year, a retired police officer reportedly disclosed he was paid $1.5million to help the star fake his own death .
David Myers, who was on his deathbed at the time, said: "The world needs to know what I did. I'm ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.”
Myers also related that 2Pac gave $50,000 for a body double to be taken to the morgue.

Over 30 people were reportedly paid to help fake his death – including police, medics and various witnesses.

En route to a night club, a car pulled up alongside Shakur's while he was standing with his head out of the sunroof and unknown gunnmen shot him, hitting him in the chest, pelvis, right hand, thigh and lung.

‘He alive,’ another fan wrote simply in the comment section. One of the most popular conspiracy theories is that the rapper was sick of his fame and wary of the attempts on his life after previously surviving an assassination attempt –  therefore he faked his death and moved to Cuba.

In 2012, former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight added to the conspiracy by suggesting Tupac is still alive. Knight said he never saw the artist’s body following his death, despite being there on the night of the deadly shooting.
