Sports Minister Is A Psychiatric Patient - Japanese Surgeon; Nigerians Ask For The Surgeon's Forgiveness (See Tweets)


Dr Katsuya Takasu, Japanese philanthropist and plastic surgeon based in Tokyo, who charitably donated $390,000 to the Nigeria U-23 Men’s National Team at the just concluded Rio 2016 Olympics has taken it out on Nigeria's Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung and top officials of the sports ministry.

Takasu flared up at the officials after some of them called for probe to the source of the money. The irate surgeon effused his anger via a couple of tweets. As twitter users and  Nigerians online tried to calm him down.

Parents call for the swapping of Chibok girls for Boko Haram detainees

This was as a follow up to the video of the girls as was released by the sect on Sunday. Boko Haram captured more than 200 of the 276 final-year girls it abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno State, in April 2014. Some of them escaped, but 215 girls remain missing. Jean Ping Declares Himself President Of Garbon

Gabon opposition leader Jean Ping on Friday declared himself the rightful president while demanding for a vote recount,48 hours after incumbent Ali Bongo was announced the winner of a weekend and election was returened re-elected throwing the central african nation into crisis. “I am the president, ” Ping told a press conference at his home in Libreville late Friday, calling for a recount from every polling station.
