Comic Nollywood ‘The Three Wise Men’ Hits The Cinemas in October


New movie by Opa Williams, The Three Wise Men hits Nigerian cinemas come October 2016.

The Three Wise Men stars Nollywood veterans Richard Mofe Damijo (Irikefe), Zack Orji (Timi) and Victor Olaotan – who play the role of three elderly men who’ve known each other for decades and eventually agree to spend their retirement like youths.

‘It’s a reflection of ourselves’, Zack Orji, who got interested after knowing the other wise men of the cast, acknowledged.

Their flashy lifestyle of expensive cars, clothing and jewelries will give youths a run for their money.

The comic movie was directed by Patience Oghre Imobhio and also features Tina Mba and Ebele Okaro

Man kills himself, two others in Imo

The Imo State Police Command, in eastern Nigeria, has confirmed the death of three persons at Akokwa community in Ideato Local Government Area on Friday. DSP Andrew Enwerem, the Police Public Relations Officer who confirmed the incident said others sustained injuries. He explained that an unidentified man, said to be from the northern part of Nigeria, had run amok and killed a girl and a woman and thereafter killed himself. He said some aggrieved youths immediately went for reprisal attacks, leading to some other persons sustaining various degrees of injuries. Enwerem said the Commissioner of Police, on receiving reports of the the incident, deployed anti-riot policemen who stopped the incident from spreading further. “Report to police showed that a yet to be identified northerner ran amok at Akokwa community and used weapons to attack and kill a girl and a woman and thereafter killed himself’’, he said.
