Nnamdi Kanu Used Radio Biafra To Amass Wealth And Fame Says RE-IPOB

The Reformed Indigenous People of Biafra (RE-IPOB) on Sunday avowedly alleged that the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and its factional group, the Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB) have betrayed the Biafran agitation.
In a statement released by its spokesperson Ikemba Biafra, TRIPOB has disowned the duo for collecting money from local and foreign sponsors. The group accused Nnamdi Kanu of converting the Radio Biafra into personal merchandise used to garner wealth and fame.
“The emergence of TRIPOB is a fall out of the internal wrangling in the IPOB,” it said. “Members and officers of IPOB loyal to one of the spokesmen of IPOB, Emma Nmezu, are behind TRIPOB. There is nothing actually different between IPOB and TRIPOB. This is why we wielded the big stick to sack them to save the Biafran struggle. We urge all pro-Biafra groups to remain calm and cease any contact with Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB or TRIPOB and await further information from RE-IPOB.”
The group affirmed its resolve to reveal leaders of TRIPOB on Monday, August 29, saying it would also make public the list of those chosen to negotiate with the Federal government.
