What Really Caused The Clash Between Don Jazzy And Olamide At Headies


Recall Olamide and Don Jazzy had a misunderstanding at the last edition of The Headies over the ‘Next Rated Award’ on behalf of their protégés (Lil Kesh and Reekado, respectively), which ended up being the big take from the award night which was moved to New Year’s Day.

Marvins Boss Don Jazzy has finally revealed why he came at Olamide at the Headies Award in a chat with Peace Hyde Of Forbes Africa on #MyWorstDay.

In his words:

“I learnt a lesson about anger, I don’t really get angry like that. At that particular point, I was angry and emotional about my kids. You have to understand there’s no greater love than the love of a father for his children,“I think that’s the way people should know the amount of love i have for whoever is working for me. Especially those three. I guess I was weak, I was upset, spoke out of tongue. I’m sorry to my fans that expected better from me.”

On how they made peace

 “That’s the beauty about adults. In two seconds after saying all that I regretted my actions. I realised that he did too and we got along. We didn’t want it to escalate.”

Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, has called on the U.S. to support Nigeria to attract more investors into the country. Abubakar made the call when the officials of Nigerian- American Chamber of Commerce paid her a courtesy visit in Abuja on Friday. ``America is a world leader in terms of investment and we will need your support in assuring investors that Nigeria is open and safe for business,’’ she said.
