Fulani Herdsmen Are Peace Loving, Not Terrorists - Emir

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has exonerated Fulani herdsmen of responsibility for all the killings and maimings of innocent Nigerians in communities across the country, as was witnessed in Enugu in the week that was, where a catholic seminerian lost his life. He avowedly described them as peaceful, lovable and honest in their dealings with other tribes.
The Emire also urged Nigerians to ensure that the desired peace and tranquility continued to reign in the nation through harmonious working relationships and honesty. While adding that this became imperative as a result of the infiltration of attitudes alien to the practice and tradition of the people of Kwara State, especially indigenes of Ilorin.
The monarch made those comments on Monday when members of Balogun Gambari community paid him a thank you visit over the elevation of the Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, Alhaji Adedayo Balogun, as the most senior chancellor in Ilorin Emirate Council.
