Spiritual Leaders, Their Convictions & Its Effects On Their Followers

The spiritual leader's task is to move people from where they are to where God wants them to be. This is influence.
Such leaders will make concerted efforts to move their followers from following their own agendas to pursuing God's purposes. People who fail to move people to God's agenda have not led. They may have exhorted, cajoled, pleaded, or bullied.
This crop of leaders can influence all people, not just God's people. God's agenda applies to the marketplace as well as the meeting place. Although spiritual leaders will generally move God's people to achieve God's purposes, God can use them to exert significant godly influence in the social space.
Often times, people assume that along with the role of leader comes the responsibility of determining what should be done. They develop aggressive goals. They dream grandiose dreams. They cast grand visions. Then they pray and ask God to join them in their agenda and bless their efforts. That's not what spiritual leaders do. (They) seek God's will, then marshal their people to pursue same.
Clergyman Blows Hot Against Organizers of BBNaija
In a recent development, Pastor Mike Winning, president of DominionGlory Assembly who is based in Port Harcourt Nigeria has blasted the organizes of popular TV Reality game show, BBNaija.
He placed a curse on sponsors of Big Brother Naija saying that if the sponsors of the show attempt to air the show next year, their resources will dry up. What came after was just colossal. The pastor's remarks has mopped up acclaims alongside vituperation on the social media.

Seyi Law Comes Hard On Pastor Mike Winning
Sequel to the baptizm of curses on sponsors of Big Brother Naija by Pastor Winning, Ace Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, has reacted to the clergyman's comments.
Read what Seyi Law wrote below:
What a joke of a Pastor. Did Jesus lay curses on those who turned His Father's house to a market place of all sorts or He just rebuked them. Some of all these people who call themselves Pastors actually think they are God o. Oga Ade, go and have a rethink abeg and ask God for forgiveness. I am not in support of the immoral acts in Big Brother Naija, but as a Christian when the devil brings darkness, you shine your light. If you don't like what they protray, change your channel.
Pastor, please organise your own Big Christ House and give money that will change the followers of Christ's lives and see if men and your father in heaven won't praise you.
Pastor talking like Nigeria Government, why is Big Brother Naija been held in SA when they have refused to create an enabling environment to allow businesses to thrive. You curse kor you close ni. Long Hisssssssssss.
These types of prayer are for your closet not public, Mr. Pastor. Praying their resources should run dry. Ah ah, Pastor, do you know how many are on the employment list of Payporte and Dufil, the makers of Indomie? You are a wicked man. Pray a better abeg.
However, Mike Winning has since deleted the post. One would ask...why delete the post? Why couldn't he hold fast to what he believed?
Personally, I define spiritual leadership as knowing where God wants people to be and taking the initiative to use God’s methods to get them there in reliance on God’s power. But what we have today is many rascals who are out for their purse and to possibly gain power and fame. Some of these people has lead to the untimely passing of their members.
So, instead of leading men to God, they influence them, expolit them and finally lead them to their slaughter.
The Pastor That Decieved His Members
Recently, a shocking story surfaced where a South African Pastor reportedly killed about five of his church members after he gave them rat poison to drink for healing and miracle.
Pastor Light Monkeyi according to Sowetan Live who is the founder of Grace Living Hope Ministries, had mixed 'Rattex', a rat poison with water and gave to his members to drink, citing that that death has no power over them as long as they drink the mixture which he said was for nourishment and healing.
Monkeyi had told his members that they were not mere mortals and would not die from drinking the lethal dose of rat poison.
The church members who took the mixture later developed severe stomach upsets that same evening and they were rushed to a hospital.
At the moment, statistics has shown that five of the members who drank the mixture have died while 13 others have been hospitalized.
