'MMM Pays', Where On Earth Is That Popular Slogan?
'MMM pays' was until now a very fashionable slogan. It is no joke how that popular slogan got atomized and increasingly negligible, if not utterly forgotten. Saying that the slogan is relegated won't be completely out of place.
Months after starting out well in Nigeria as a scheme that gave rays of hope to many in the face of excruciating economic decline, Mavrodi Mundial Movement (MMM) made history in Nigeria when its management decided to freeze the mavros of participants few days to Christmas. This was when these monies were largely needed by over three million Nigerian subscribers for their Christmas and other celebrations.
1st Freezing Of Mavros
Condemnations and vituperations followed the alleged shutting down of the ponzi scheme. It could be recalled that, the founder of MMM, Mavrodi on his authority, affirmed that the scheme will be back by January 14 as promised.
Just as promised, MMM made a re-luanch on 13th January, a day before the originally slated date. A development which stirred jubilations among participants all over the nation. Many who invested hugely into the ponzi scheme heaved a sigh of relief. But unfortunately it turned out to be that the MMM system was adjusted to pay those users who invested small amount of money before getting to those who invested larger amounts.
Ever since then, MMM as in Nigeria became somewhat paralytic. Skepticism waded in as participants who get paired for providing help, 'PH' declined in their numbers. This has no doubt adversely affected and defamed MMM today.
Mavros To Be Froven Again (For The Second Time)
In a recent development, MMM announced it would freeze some Mavros of its participants and introduce new measures to ‘serve them better.’
The management of the scheme on Thursday, February 22 released a new statement to all its participants.

“You constantly reproach us stating we don’t listen to your opinions however we really do. We try to carry out the most reasonable and efficient suggestions immediately. Particularly, in accordance with your suggestions, we will soon take the following measures: We will stop the growth of confirmed Mavros acquired before the 1st of January 2017.
We will freeze the bonuses received before the 1st of January 2017 (so that limited withdrawal of Mavro-2016 will include only contributions, not bonuses). We will introduce a new rule according to which the withdrawal amount cannot exceed triple amount of the provided help (so, GH cannot exceed PH more than in 3 times).”
In January, MMM had unfrozen the Mavros but ever since its return, the participants are yet to get either their invested capital back nor the promised returns on them.
