After Getting Kicked Out Of BBNaija House, Gifty Now Admits Knowing Banky W & Falz

Ex Big Brother Naija contestant, Gifty has done the needful after all said and done. The controversial former housemate, who was shown the way out on Sunday eviction show has now apologised to Falz and Banky W for her remarks about not knowing them, after they made guest appearances on the BBNaija house in South Africa.

Gifty took to Instagram to pen down an apology note for here remarks which trended and eventually garnered trolls and vilification for the former house.

Read what she wrote below:

'Good evening everyone. First of all I was misunderstood when I said I don't know Banky, actually what I meant was, "I've never met him in person".

'Banky is an amazing singer no doubt. And right now i want to use this platform to apologize for all the wrong words I said about him. It's just a game, we say/do things for specific reasons plus I was emotionally unstable cos I was up for possible eviction. So to all Banky fans and everyone please forgive me, Banky I love your music and you are a talented cute guy! #blessed'.

'And concerning FALZ,I know the song called "soft work" but believe me I had no idea it was FALZ that sang it and also I haven't met him before that was why I had to ask "who is he"..#humblefalz To everyone out there,i just want to refresh your mindset again that the BIG BROTHER SHOW is always a game that has just one winner and whatever actions you have seen in the house is for a reason so please I beg you all don't judge by what you have seen or heard. God richly bless you all and I LOVE YOU... abeg make una no vex for ma head na, na game rule me just dey follow ooo'.

Gifty & Her Fame Game

Recall, it all began after one of Gifty's Diary Sessions after Banky's visit, the BBNaija ex-contestant said that she felt that Banky W is too proud and also stressed that she has not heard of his name before. She also seized the moment to voice that she didn't feel the singer and believed he came there because he was paid some money by the organizers of the show.

Banky W recently came into the Big Brother Naija House in South Africa, as an special guest to speak to the housemates and to inspire them to do more with the platform they have as it were.

Surprise! Surprise!! Immediately he entered the house, Gifty had no idea who he was which was. In her Diary Session, she trolled the fine singer saying that she didn’t like the way Banky W carried himself, while also citing that he acted proud and it was as if they had paid him to come and impress them.

These remarks got twitter users tweeting 'back and forth'. While many believe Gifty was trying to use Banky W to become famous, others are of the opinion that for an up-comer in the entertainment Industry, it was huge error for her to shade a superstar like the 'Jasi crooner' in such a disparaging manner.

Banky W Became Conspicuously Uneasy

Banky W recently came into the Big Brother Naija House in South Africa, as a special guest to speak to the housemates and to inspire them to do more with the platform they have as it were.

Gifty acted like she had no idea who he was. She worsened the whole stuff by trolling him.Her remarks got twitter buzzing for long, making the superstar and record label executive join the band wagon.

It became obvious, that Banky W was uneasy with Gifty's comments and was thrown off-balance as he unhesitatingly flooded twitter with tweets that were supposedly made to clear some of the lady's claims.

He also took to the social media to pen down some words as a comeback.

Yall shld pls try and have mercy on her.

1) Not sure why she feels like I have “proudness”, but I certainly wasn’t paid to appear. I was in town for another gig and the producers asked if I could come on as a favour and give the contestants some advice that will be helpful to them down the line, which is all I tried to do. I think all the other contestants enjoyed our time together so it’s all good.
 
2) The thoughts I shared weren’t for the contestants alone; hopefully my words were beneficial to all the viewers at home.
 
3) It’s okay if Gifty, or anyone else doesn’t know who I am. I never assume that they do, or that they should. Pls if you don’t know me, feel free to epp my career – Google me or look up my music catalogue on YouTube.. or watch the wedding party movie. Whenever Gifty does make it home, she will have the opportunity to do the same.

From all indications, Gifty is back to herself now, having been evicted from the game show where she clearly lied or perhaps pretended just to get attention. Today, she has all the attention; may be not the kind she wished for but at least she is now known in Nigeria and beyond.
