Veteran Nollywood Actor Tunde Alabi Looses Right Leg To Diabetes

Popular Nollywood actor Tunde Alabi who's been down with diabetes for some time, has eventually lost a leg to the ailment as as doctors amputated his right leg to prevent it from affecting the other parts of his body. Tunde is one of the regular characters in the TV series, the ‘Village Headmaster’.

It was gathered, the thespian's health raised some serious concerns in recent weeks as he was reported to be critically ill at the Lagos General hospital, and needed financial help to prevent one of his legs from being chopped off.

Source said the ailing actor looked worried and abandoned. There are strong indications that he may be thrown out from the hospital as he is helpless as to footing the hospital bills.

Telling his sad story, the ailing actor said, he was in good state of health until the night of 19th of July, when he had a strange expulsion on his right leg which has not only kept him away from acting, but also has left him broke.

In his words: “I went to bed at about 8. 30 pm that fateful day with the intention of waking up at 1 am. When it was about 9 pm, I had a strange expulsion on my right leg. Immediately, the leg started burning and I screamed throughout the night. The following morning I couldn’t move the leg again. It was a spiritual attack. That’s what has kept me under this condition,”.
