I Never Attacked Emir Of Katsina Over Alleged Forceful Teenage Marriage - Sanusi

New making rounds in most social media platforms in the week that was, had it that Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II attacked Katsina emir, Abdulmumini Usman Dikko, over the alleged abduction and forceful marriage of a 14-year-old girl, Habiba Isa. This the monarch has on Wednesday debunked in its entirety.

Munir Sunusi Bayero, one of Kanu Emir's official in a statement affirmed the emir does not have a Twitter or Facebook account and would not have commented about an issue he knows little or nothing about while claiming the story is the creation of mischief-makers.

In his words Bayero said: “His Highness has no social media handles and does not even know about the issue of any teenager in Katsina or anywhere. The matter is a creation of mischief-makers aimed at causing disaffection between the royal houses”.

“That was how they used the name of the Emir to say he was against government’s economic policies and to make false accusations against the government of (President) Buhari.

 “So this is not the first time they are targeting the revered Emir with mischievous and unfounded speculations.”
