Terrible Situation In Oil-Rich Venezuela As Bloated Corpses Explode In Mortuaries

Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro

Officially known as the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is a federal republic located on the northern coast of South America.Venezuela has the world's largest oil reserves and has been one of the world's leading exporters of oil yet adjudged to be an impoverished nation
What many sees to be the worst case senario is seen in the Spain-colonised nation as decomposing corpses are seen exploding in morgues resulting from lack of money in other to purchase air conditioners for hospitals and morques.

Sources disclosed prisoners are starving to death in recent weeks in the nation's jails, newborn babies are sleeping in cardboard boxes instead of incubators in hospitals and opposition lawmakers have not been paid for months. All these seem to be happening as the health care system in the oil-rich yet poor country has depreciated under the socialist policies of the nation's bus driver-turned politician and president Nicolás Maduro.

Some very toxic fluids and gases have oozed from a bloated and subsequently exploded corpse that had been decomposing for two days in tropical heat at University Hospital Antonio Patricio de Alcalá, in Cumaná and  patients in nearby rooms were evacuated as they were sickened by the stench from the morgue.

Recall, Venezuela under Hugo Chávez suffered "one of the worst cases of Dutch Disease in the world" due to the Bolivarian government's large dependence on 'oil sales'.

Poverty and inflation began to increase into the 2010s. Nicolás Maduro was elected in 2013 after the death of Chavez.
