From 120milliom To N30million; Lagos Schoolgirls’ Kidnappers Ransom Crash Lands

In the week that was, four students, a teacher and Junior School Principal of Lagos State Model College, Igbonla in Epe, Lagos State were reportedly kidnapped as the abductors had earlier demanded the N120million for their ransom.
However, recent reports has it that the kidnappers has reduced their demand from N120million to N30 million. As the kidnappers has reached one of the parents and demanded N20million while another was asked to bring N10million.
A source, whose name was witheld, disclosed they have been able to speak to the children and they are in good condition. While pointing out the number which contacts the families appears restricted.
“We have spoken to them. They are fine and their kidnappers assured us that nothing would happen to them as long as we cooperate and not involve the police'' The source disclosed.
He went on to say: “Not all families were contacted. They are demanding N30m”.
In the same light, another relative to one of the victims affirmed her sister called yesterday, while confirming they were asked to bring N5million for the release of the girl.
In her words: “When my sister insisted in talking with our relative held captive, they fired a shot and our relative screamed in fear.
“They said that was a warning shot and that it would be made real if we tried to bring in security”.
