World's Highest Paid Actress Unveiled #Top10 Power Players In Tinseltown


According to Forbes' latest rich list, Jennifer Lawrence, 26 is the world's highest-paid actress , The Hunger Games star has topped the annual list for the second year at a stretch, with her earnings over the past one year reportedly rolling in to the tune of 46 million US dollars (£34.9 million) before tax.

Rising above Melissa McCarthy , Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Aniston, each of whom has made it into the top five ranking.

The Academy Award-winning actress topped the list in 2015 after earning 52 million dollars (£39.5 million), meaning there has been an 11.5% decline in her income this year.

After receiving a massive payout from the box office gross of the final movie in the popular Hunger Games franchise, in which she played a lead character Katniss Everdeen. Reports also had it that Lawrence has taken a bulk chunk of money up-front from her yet-to-be-released movie Passengers .

On the other hand, McCarthy, 45, lands second place on the list, with a reported 33 million dollars (£25 million), as a result of large payment for starring in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot. Her estimated earnings have risen by 10 million dollars (£7 million) since the 2015 list was published.

Johansson , 31, occupies the third place on the list with estimated annual income of 25 million dollars (£19 million) and Aniston, 47, is fourth, with Forbes putting her earnings at 21 million dollars (£15.9 million).

Jennifer Aniston makes the list at number four while Chinese actress Fan Bingbing is at fifth place with her annual earnings hiting 17 million (£12.9 million).

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is the only new addition to the list, as she ocuppies the 10th place with 10 million (£7.6 million) garnered over the past year.

Charlize Theron, Amy Adams, Julia Roberts and Mila Kunis makes up the top 10.
