Chelsea and Liverpool are fixed for a play come Tuesday evening, when they take on Burton and Bristol Rovers respectively and will both likely look to incorporate some of new signings, as will Everton and Crystal Palace who have both spent a huge sum this summer.

With a loaded fixtures, here are six players to watch out for.

1. Marko Grujic - Liverpool

Signed in January but left on loan at former club Red Star Belgrade, Grujic made a remarkable impression during pre-season, netting a number of goals - including an outstanding header in the 4-0 blast of Barcelona at Wembley.

The midfielder played the final 12 minutes of Liverpool’s 2-0 loss at Burnley on Saturday.

Klopp is looking for a reaction from his side at the Pirelli, and the £5million player will hope to perform top-notch and stake his claim.

2. Ollie Watkins - Exeter City

The Exeter forward has no doubt secured the attention of the likes of Derby, Bournemouth and Brentford following his performance last season for the Grecians where he scored nine goals in 22 games for the League Two club, bagging the football League Player of the Month award for March.

Paul Tisdale Exeter boss maintains Watkins stays at St James Park, but the 20-year-old will get another chance to feature when they host Hull City this evening.

3.Michy Batshuayi - Chelsea

It's difficult to try and second-guess Antonio Conte's XI for their home clash against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, but one man who should be endorsed is Mich Batshuayi.

The Belgium forward has put in game-changing cameos in Chelsea's opening two Premier League wins, including the equaliser in the Blues' 2-1 win over Watford at the weekend.

Batshuayi was bought over by Conte for a whooping £33million this summer and his early form indicates that he can give the Italian a real selection dilemma.

Diego Costa will miss through suspension this season currently standing at eight-to-ten matches, with the over-under for games. A goal or two by the 22-year-old against the League One side will boost his confidence and give the Stamford Bridge crowd a chance to learn more about what the talented youngster has to bring to the fur.

4. Yannick Bolasie - Everton

The Congolese winger is poised to make his first start against Yeovil since arriving from Palace on a £25million move.

The Everton new comer, was bright off the bench against West Brom on Saturday and Ronald Koeman will be eager for him to build his fitness.

Koeman plans to make public a strong line-up for the clash with Romelu Lukaku and fellow new boy Ashley Williams also set to start.

Distinctly, this will be Bolasie's home debut at Goodison and Bolasie will be eager to impress his new fans.

5. Oliver Burke - Nottingham Forest

A 19-year-old Scotland international Oliver Burke who is notorious for having an eye for goal,

The quick, direct winger, has braced up and is reaping the rewards under new boss Philippe Montanier, having began the season in sterling form.

"He's a similar player to Gareth Bale: declared teammate Thomas Lam at the weekend, after Burke's double against Wigan helped Forest to a 4-3 win at the City Ground, taking his tally to three goals in four Championship outings.

Tonight Burke steps into the Lions' den (literally) as Forest head to Millwall, themselves having started the season well in League One. Often a hostile atmosphere, it will be a test of temperament as well as talent.

6. Jonathan Leko - West Brom

In recent years Tony Pulis hasn't really done 'young players', mainly preferring tried-and-tested, senior pros at Stoke,Crystal Palace and now consequently West Brom.

Be that as it may, a 17-year-old winger Jonathan Leko seems to have reversed the trend at The Hawthorns.

The Congo-born England Under-17 international has impressed in the Midlands with both his talent and his attitude, since breaking into Albion's senior side at the back end of last season - to the extent that he has already seen playing time in the new campaign.

Leko didn't head on holiday during the summer, preferring to stay behind to work on his fitness and to hone his game. Albion head to Northampton with Leko hoping for another chance to both humble opposing full-backs and impress Pulis - as he looks to force his way into the Baggies' Premier League XI.
