Man Knifed His 12-Year Son To Death


Ryota Satake, 12  has been murdered with a knife by his own father for allegedly not doing his homework,

Report has it that Ryota was stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife by his father because he didn't study for a school entrance exam in Japan's Aichi prefecture.

In his words, the 48-year-old father, Kengo told police he “ argued with his son for not studying” for a test at the private school.

There are strong indications that the schoolboy died of blood loss from the stabbing, despite being rushed to hospital police said.

He reportedly told police he knifed his son "by mistake" while his mother was at work.

Ryota was sitting an exam for one of the top private schools in the area.

According to people who know the family, he was often scolded by his father over his studies.

Pressure for children to attend top schools can be intense in Japan, where is is seen as a sign of prestige.
The tragic stabbing comes a few weeks after a knifeman killed 19 people and injured 25 at a care home for disabled people in Japan .
