Herdsmen Sends Redeemed Pastor To Untimely Grave


Men with fire arms on Sunday night murderd a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Pastor Luka Ubangari was killed by men suspected to be fulani herdsmen in Shawa village, near Godogodo, in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

He was reportedly ambushed, shot and killed while returning from evangelism to Golkofa village.
The incident took place just few days after Governor Nasir El-Rufai condemned incessant herdsmen killings during his visit to the area.

“We were happy that the Governor (Nasir El-Rufai) had visited and assured us of improved security and that the killers would be found and punished.

“To our shock, Pastor Luka Ubangari was ambushed, shot and killed as he was riding his motorcycle home after an evangelical visit to Golkofa.” a source said.
