Murray-Bruce share parents throwback photos
The common sense crooner and Senator representing Bayelsa east senatorial zone took time off to visit his facebook on thursday evening to display throw back photos of his parents.
Senator Bruce is an avowed critic of the current administration.
The break from politics came after the Senator criticised the current state of the country, suggesting that the size of the country’s government was partly responsible for the high level of poverty in the country.
He said, “India with 1.3 billion people has 29 states; Nigeria with 160 million has 36 states and an FCT. Is it any surprise we are broke? Do we need 36 states with governors, an assembly, LGAs, commissioners with the convoys, allowances and other perks that go along with these offices, not to talk of ministries? Not if we want to escape the poverty cycle!”
