Ex-BBNaija Housemate, Gifty after been evicted from the Big Brother Naija house in South Africa became increasingly controversial and alleged stories from her life before entring the popular reality Tv show topped the entertainment charts for weeks. Recall, the upcoming actress while on her media tour debunked entirely the claims that she is married and has a child.

The truth they say 'will always prevail'. just recently, Gifty finally agreed to fact that she was once married.

In a recent interview with HipTv, the Anambra born thespian revealed that her bride price paid by her ex husband was duely returned.

In her words: 

"I was 19. I didn't know what the whole marriage thing was all about. It felt entering into adulthood overnight. The marriage was just traditionally recognized. It wasn't legal although we did the traditional and white wedding.
 
There was no court wedding. The bride price was returned. What I experienced..I don't wish for you to experience it because I passed through a lot and people out there judge me because they don't even know what I have been through."

Of recent, when people talk like this, one's mind would dash to the Tonto Dikeh/Churchill's marriage 'brouhaha'. Could Gifty's first marriage have been stalled on account of domestic violence?

Man abducts elder sister, demands ransom of N10m

Egbo Nwanaka has been arrested by the officials of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Rivers State Police Command for organising the abduction of her elder sister, Ada Nwanaka. Egbo was said to have connived with a friend to abduct her sister, who operates a supermarket in Ahoada. The suspect, who was one of those paraded at the State Police Command in Port Harcourt, was expecting one of his relatives to pay ransom for the release of her elder sister. Though the police said they did not immediately arrest Egbo, they were able to link the abduction of Ada Nwanaka, who is in her early 30s, to his younger brother after series of investigation. Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, said that the Egbo’s friend, who took Miss Nwanaka to an unknown destination, was killed during a shootout with security operative.
