Apostle Suleiman Never Met Me Before He Helped Me - Nollywood Actor, Leo Mezie
The sex scandal involving the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Suleiman Johnson seems to be getting messier as more shocking revelations continue to surface. Just few days after a Canadian based singer, Stephenie Otobo came forth with claims of being in a sexual relationship with the outspoken cleric. Another lady identified as Esther has claimed she was in a similar sexual relationship with Suleiman.
In Ms.Esther's words:
“I dated Apostle Suleman while I was a member in his church, he was my pastor, spiritual director and mentor aside being a boyfriend, from August 2013 to 2014 April.”
“I was an usher in his branch church, but I had a sexual relationship with him as he lured me into it in order to solve my spiritual problem and limitations to success in career and marriage, but after the sex he didn’t solve the problems for me, instead he started making proposal for us to marry.
“I cannot be able to send my picture now till am (sic) sure of my protection from his followers’ attacks.
“Many ladies are victims of Johnson Suleiman but they are afraid to come out publicly because they fear the consequences attached to their public stand against him, which is a possible spiritual attack and destruction on their life and destiny.”
While all these persist, Apostle Suleiman is clearly not the only one on the flip side. Many believe all these were engineered to tarnish the image of the notable man of God, due to what some call the 'hate speeches' about the Fulani herdsmen recently credited to him .
Fine Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie, who survived an advanced stage of kidney disease late last year recently came public to affirm the 'benevolent nature' of the embattled clergyman. Mezie is one of those who have benefited from the benevolent nature of Suleiman and has showered encomium on him, for his prayers and financial support which saw him through the hard times. These came as his reactions to the Suleiman/Otobo's sex scandal.
According to some online sources, Leo was quoted as saying; his heart bleeds for the Apostle over what he is passing through at the moment.
In his words:
'I have been reading different stories from different medium on apostle Suleiman and one Stephenie Otobo and the different comments. Some people were even saying why will apostle send money to someone he has never met. My heart bleeds because apostle Suleiman never met me before he helped me. I have never heard of him or met him before and immediately he heard my story he verified it and contacted me. This is a man I have never seen or heard of and he sent me 8million to settle my medical bills in UK. He was also constantly checking on me and even sent members of his church in UK to always check up on me ,Pastor Ejiro and Pastor Daniella Williams to mention but a few. Immediately , I returned I went to see him to thank him. So saying why must he send money to someone he hasn't seen doesn't make sense. Note, The apostle Suleiman I know and I've met several times doesn't travel alone he goes with a large entourage any where he goes in the word. Secondly, Apostle Suleiman is so proud of his family and his wife in particular is a sermon in his mouth, thirdly, apostle Suleiman maybe friendly and extremely jovial but will never ever take indecent pictures of himself or with anybody as this Stephenie Otobo is claiming. Fourthly, his generosity and act of giving will not kill him or put him in trouble not one million Stephenie otobos will stop him because it is his call to service. I Leo mezie is a benefactor of it! Finally, I will rather not curse Stephenie Otobo but I will pray for her that the good lord will show her mercy in Jesus name Amen.''.
