Meet DBB Entertainer Of The Week, KCee

Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo born 18 April 1979, popularly known as KCee is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was formally in the Hip Hop duo group called Kc Presh. He currently signed to the Five Star Music which is owned by his younger brother, E-Money, Emeka Okonkwo. He started working with Del B, a record producer known for producing "Limpopo''.

Early life

The Limpopo hit maker hails from Ihiala, Anambra State. He was born in Ajegunle, Lagos to a father who was a DJ.

He attended Central High school Isolo before proceeding to the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied Theatre Arts.

KCee started out as a young footballer as he played for Julius Berger and Puma football clubs locally.

Music career

Kcee and his longtime partner and friend Presh made an impact in the entertainment industry as a duo for 12years they worked together as music partners which gave then both a few recognition until 2011 when they called for a split both chasing their own career on their own not together anymore.

They met him in a church choir and they were running the choir together after which they both entered for the Star Quest TV reality show together and won the show.

Relationship

KCee was once married to Ifeoma Okonkwo and also dated Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo.

Endorsements

In 2013, he signed a multi million naira endorsement deal with Telecom gaint, MTN. KCee was also named Peace Ambassador Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria by Nigeria's Ex-Firstlady, Dame Patience Jonathan.

Again he signed a multi millionaire endorsement deal with MTN in 2015 and Magnum in the same year. He is no doubt doing well for himself.
