My Mission in Kogi is Divine -Bello
The youngest state Governor in Nigeria and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who just clocked 40 years in June had Friday declared that he was on “a divine mission” to curb corruption, waste and mismanagement of resources. Speaking with the media shortly after joining President Muhammadu Buhari to offer Jumat prayers inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Bello reacted to a recent verdict of the Court of Appeal which upheld his election. “They (people of the state) should expect development, prosperity and good governance all the way,” he said. The governor described the court judgement as a confirmation of “divine ruling” by God.
