[BREAKING] Ex-Aviation Minister Fani-Kayode Collapses In EFCC Net

Ex Aviation minister and avowed Buhari critic Femi Fani-Kayode who was recently re-arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has reportedly slumped while in custody.
Fani-Kayode's spokesperson Jude Ndukwe made this public in the statement issued on Monday that the outspoken ex-misiter's family and his lawyers had raised concerns about his health when he was agin brought in on Friday by the EFCC, though their concerns were ignored.

Below is the statement which read in part: “We made known our fears that Fani-Kayode’s life was in dire danger as long as he remained in EFCC custody or in the custody of any agency of the federal government based on discreet information available to us.

 “This is apart from the fact that his health has been badly affected since his incarceration for a whopping 67 days based on some questionable ‘detention orders’.

“This fact is well known to the EFCC as Fani-Kayode’s lawyers have written several letters to the Commission reminding them of the health condition of the former minister of aviation.”

Ndukwe said the EFCC remained adamant as to the release of the ex-minister nothwithstanding letters from the former aviation minister’s lawyers about his medical concerns and the need for him to complete his “therapy” resulting from ailment he was met with while on dentention the last time.

Femi's spokesman went on to state: “It is therefore little wonder that based on the history of his medical condition which the Commission is very much aware of, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode slumped while in detention on Saturday, 22nd of October, 2016,”.

 “But for the quick and professional intervention of the medical team in the EFCC medical facilities, the story could have been different, it could have been fatal.”

While urging the EFCC to release the ex-minister pending his arraignment in court to face the charges against him and at the same time disclosing that there would be consequences should anything happen to him.

Man on trail launches attack, tries to stab prosecutor amid court session

Indeed was horrendous moment. A sex offender lunged at prosecutors in a courtroom in an attempt to stab them. CCTV footage shows Joshua Harding, 35, producing a 'shank' from his sleeve before running across the Veterans Memorial Courthouse in Michigan on Tuesday. The 35-year-old, who has since been found guilty of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, then appears to try and stab Jonathan Roth, an assistant prosecutor. The tip of Harding, who had arrived at the court from Ingham County Jail, was then tackled to the floor and handcuffed by a group of security guards - one of which obtained facial injuries.he weapon misses the face of the Roth by centimetres as Harding is According to WLNS , the 35-year-old, who is set to be sentenced on September 21, may now face further changes for the attack.
