(REVEALED) How INEC Officials Shared A Whooping Sum Of N111 Million To Rig Rivers Re-run Polls

On the authority of the report presented in Abuja today by an investigative panel set up by the Inspector-General of Police; a whooping sum of N111 million was recovered from electoral officials alleged to have been bribed by Rivers state government to rig the December 10,2016 legislative rerun elections in the state.

According to the data from the report, about 23 suspects were allegedly bribed to compromise the polls and the said amount were taken back from them.

It was revealed by the chairman of the panel, DCP Damian Okoro, that; ''the sum total of N111.3 million was recovered from the 23 electoral officials out of N360m.

Okoro seized the moment to disclose that three senior electoral officers from the aforetestated figure got N20 million while others got N15 million each.
