Reports has it that Salisu Yusuf ,54,assistant coach of Super Eagles is yet to sign a contract with the Nigeria Football Federation weeks after Gernot Rohr sealed his own deal. “Yusuf was to have discussed and agreed on his own contract after he led the NPFL All-Stars on a playing tour of Spain recently, but all the top officials who would have attended to him were overseas on official assignments,” source revealed. “He does not know what is on the table for him as no one has discussed the contract with him. “It is now hoped he will seal his own contract at least before the AFCON qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo next month.” Rohr is currently on a monthly salary to the tune of $47,000. In the same development one would also expect a pay rise for the assistant coach, Like the new forign coach, Yusuf is also expected to sign a two-year contract.
