NPOWER: Federal Government Has Employed 200,000 Graduates Into The Civil Service For The First Batch Of The Programme

The Federal government has announced the employment of 200,000 graduates into the Federal civil service.

This was made public by the Special Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on media and publicity, Laolu Akande while speaking at the second presidential economic communication workshop in Abuja.

According the Media aide: “We have selected 200,000 graduates out of 500,000. This is the first batch. One hundred and fifty thousand will work as teachers while 50, 000 will work as extension workers. Their pay which is 30, 000 per month, will go directly into their account"

While adding that the graduates would work for just two years in the civil service.
