Governor Wike on getting to the judge's residence in a quick response to an alert vehemently oppossed the kidnap attempt, stating he expected the operatives to have summoned the judge if they needed him than coming at about 1 am to pick him up.
The governor explained that as the Chief Security Officer of the state he made the rapid response to personally halt the attempted abduction of the said judge as he never bothered to know the name of the judge in question but only had to take immediate action as no such lawlessness will be allowed a breeding space in the state.
In the governor's word: “What has happened this night it is unfortunate. Even in military government it has never happened like this , you listen to people. That is why we are here. I said not under my watch will I allow this type of activity take place.
