24 NYSC Corps Members Land Service Year Extension In Niger State


24 corp members of the 2015 Batch ‘B’ Stream One in Niger state has bagged a one-year extension of their National Youth Service Corps program.

This development was made public in Minna on Thursday at the passing out ceremony of the batch  by the state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Bolade Loto.

Loto disclosed the affected corps members had landed this service year extension as a result of their continuous absence from their places of primary assignments.

On the flip side, 10 corps members recieved State Merit Award, while 10 others got commendation letters for initiating projects that impacted on the lives of the people. While pointing the unfortunate passing of  two corps members who died in the course of the service year.

Meanwhile, a total of 2,193 corps members successfully completed the service year in good terms.
