[Paralympics] Team Nigeria Leads Africa at Rio With Another Gold Medal for Nigeria

Team Nigeria has garnered 6 Gold medals so far at the ongoing Rio Paralympics, named among the top 10 countries at the games and being the lead in Africa.
Nigeria's Ndidi Nwosu has won the fifth gold in the women’s -73kg Powerlifting event. She lifted 140kg to equal the Paralympics Record (PR), which gave her the coveted gold at the event. France’s Souhad Ghazouani came second after she lifted 135kg, while Egypt’s Amany Ali came third.
Ndidi was far behind the two counterparts quite early in the event, but she perfected her strategy to take the boldstep that produced the gold medal in the close.
