Yul Edochie Emerge Party's Governorship Candidate
Son of veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has now successfully joined the league of governorship aspirants in Anambra state. The role interpreter recently won the primary election of his party, Democratic People’s Congress (DPC).
Thanks to the 'Not Too Young To Run' bill which was recently passed by the national assembly. This amazing bill ensures that young people have a chance to use the best times of their lives in service of the nation as the age mark required by law to be members of parliament has been reduced from 30 years to 25 years (House of Representatives) and 35 years to 30 years (Senate).
Also according to this bill, Nigerian youths can now become governors of their states at the age of 30 as against the former 35 years benchmark. As a result young people can aswell aspire for the office of the president at the age of 35 as against the 40 years benchmark earlier stated by the constitution.
This is just amazing and guess some young talented celebrities has swung into action to make the most of this opportunity.
Yul Edochie recently took to social media to anounce his victory at the DPC's guber primaries. Yul is greatful to God for achieving this feat. The Nollywood star went on to also avow that come November, himself and his team will be occupying the governor house in Anambra state.

Recall it came as a huge surprise when Edochie announced on a social media his intentions to run against Governor willie Obiano for the governorship position in Anambra state come 18th November 2017.
The movie star once stated that the country needs younger leaders who will always put the masses first. See what he said when he declared his intentions to run:
“we need a new brand of leaders who will put the masses first. The older ones have failed us for too long...They have come to THE LAST BUS STOP!!! My name is Yul Edochie.
And I'm running for Governor of Anambra State. 2017. #TheLastBusStop”
Meanwhile, Yul Edochie (DPC) will be contending with the likes of the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano (APGA), former minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka (UPP) , Oseloka H. Obaze (PDP), Dr Tony Nwoye (APC) , among others.
