2 Chibok Girls Graduate From U.S. High School; Meet Donald Trump In Washington D.C

Out of 279 Chibok girls who were abducted by the Boko Haram sect from their dormitory while writing their final West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Chibok town on April 14, 2014, over 80 have so far regained their freedom.

Luck has shined down brightly on two of these girls who escaped from the insurgents. 20-year old Joy Bishara, and 19 year old Lydia Pogu on Wednesday the 28th day of June met with The President of the United States, Donald Trump at the White House.

Joy, Lydia and many other girls who escaped Boko Haram captivity were relocated to the States where they are to complete their education.Through the strides of some NGOs, these girls were able to attend boarding school in Virginia.

The duo are now high school graduates as they transferred their senior school year to Canyonville Christian Academy. They are to enroll in Southeastern University,Florida in the fall where they will pursue their graduate programmes.
