Eviction: Bassey Leaves Big Brother Naija House

Recall, Bally, Bassey, Debbie Rise and Tboss were up for possible eviction in the week that was. Efe being the Ultimate head of house had nominated them. Of all four, Calabar born housemate, Bassey had the lowest votes and was evicted.

His eviction came in as a shock to even his other housemates especially Debbie Rise who burst into tears as he left.

While on stage, Bassey said "I feel bad that I am leaving but I am excited I came this far..." Bassey also remarked his fellow housemate and close pal, Debbie Rise as an egg.

In his word:

"I really like Debbie but I didn't let Debbie Rise get so close cos I didn't want to spoil her totally, she is like an egg to me"

When asked if he will date Debbie outside the game, the thespian unhesitatingly replied; "I already have a girlfriend outside"

The ex-housemate is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar, where he majored in Acting. He believes he is gifted and loves interacting with other gifted people. Bassey lost his mother seven years ago. Her death defined one of the lowest point in his life.

However, no doubt with the new platform which he has today having been on the popular reality Tv game show, he will do well for himself in the Nigerian entertainment scene.

My pastor forced me to sell stolen car –Suspect

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a car-theft and robbery suspect, Olawale Olabinwonu, while attempting to sell a stolen vehicle. Olabinwonu, an administrative officer of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, was arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad while trying to sell a Nissan Sentra, 2015 model. The vehicle, whose number plate was changed, had been placed on an online shopping platform, where it was advertised for sale. Police investigators had, on seeing the advert, called the contact on the website to indicate interest. A man, who took custody of the car where it was parked in the Lekki area of the state, was said to have been arrested. The suspect, however, denied ownership of the car and subsequently led detectives to Olabinwonu’s residence. Olabinwonu was reported to have packed out of the house with his family after sensing danger. He was, however, tracked to a church in the area where he was arrested.
