Meet The DBB Entertainer Of The Week, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu born on July 14 1982, is a lawyer turned TV host who hails from Anambra State, Okija to be precised. He shot into prominence after contesting in the first ever and only Nigerian edition of Big Brother held in Lagos in the year 2006.
 
Obi-Uchendu was born in Benin City, Edo state. He is the third of four children. The fine media personality finished from Christ The King College, Abuja in 1997 before proceeding to the University of Abuja where he read Law. He bagged his Law degree in 2004, and finished from The Nigerian Law school, Bwari, Abuja,the next year, 2005.

Sequel to participating in Big Brother reality Tv show after Law school,  Ebuka landed endorsement deals with a some major brands and as such, he hosted Friend or Foe on NTA, the GLO Show, also on NTA, as well as Guinness' Greatness TV. He also maintained a weekly column called Contrast with Thisday Newspaper for about 4 years and has written for other publications including What's New & Ace Magazines.

In 2013, producers of popular TV talk-show, Rubbin’ Minds, unveiled Obi-Uchendu as the the new host of the show. He has hosted many of Nigeria's entertainment stars on his shows, in the likes of Banky W., Gbenga Sesan, Seun Kuti, Oluchi Onweagba, Davido, J.J. Omojuwa ,Chika Unigwe  to mention but a few.

On April 15, 2015 Ebuka got engaged to Human Resource manager, Cynthia Obianodo in Lagos. The duo later tied the nuptial nut on October 3 2015. Cynthia Obianodo, is the daughter of prominent transport Mogul, Vincent Obianodo, (Owner of the young shall grow motors)

The Ex-Big brother housemate was on February 27th 2016, awarded Outstanding Male TV presenter at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards, in recognition of his great work on Rubbin’ Minds. Since then he has been doing it big and better.

Ebuka As Big Brother Naija Host

Ex-Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, was in January 2017 named host for Big Brother Naija reality TV show currently own going in South Africa.

Ebuka is saddled with the responsibilities of ushering the housemates into the Big Brother Naija house and also announcing the evictees week after week. Duties for which he could be ranked %100.

The fashionable media personality is nailing it completely as he appears on every other Sunday night eviction show dressed-to-nines.
