Banky W's Stylish Comeback At #BBNaija Contestant, Gifty Is Epic

Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty recently slammed Nigerian music artiste and actor Banky W, during a diary session on the reality show for allegedly being proud after he visited the housemates.

Gifty in one of her Diary Sessions after Banky's visit, said that she felt that the musician is too proud and also stressed that she has not heard of his name before. She also seized the moment to voice that she didn't feel the singer and believed he came there because he was paid some money by the organizers of the show.

Banky W recently came into the Big Brother Naija House in South Africa, as an special guest to speak to the housemates and to inspire them to do more with the platform they have as it were.

Surprise! Surprise!! Immediately he entered the house, Gifty had no idea who he was which was. In her Diary Session, she trolled the fine singer saying that she didn’t like the way Banky W carried himself, while also citing that he acted proud and it was as if they had paid him to come and impress them.

These remarks got twitter users tweeting 'back and forth'. While many believe Gifty was trying to use Banky W to become famous, others are of the opinion that for an up-comer in the entertainment Industry, it was suicidal for her to shade or disparage a superstar like the 'Jasi crooner' in such manner.

Albeit, there are indications that Gifty's comments threw the music record executive off-balance as he has been seen flooding twitter with tweets that could clear some of the lady's claims. He also took to the social media to pen down some words as a comeback for the brouhaha which is buzzing and trending at the moment.

1) Not sure why she feels like I have “proudness”, but I certainly wasn’t paid to appear. I was in town for another gig and the producers asked if I could come on as a favour and give the contestants some advice that will be helpful to them down the line, which is all I tried to do. I think all the other contestants enjoyed our time together so it’s all good.
 
2) The thoughts I shared weren’t for the contestants alone; hopefully my words were beneficial to all the viewers at home.
 
3) It’s okay if Gifty, or anyone else doesn’t know who I am. I never assume that they do, or that they should. Pls if you don’t know me, feel free to epp my career – Google me or look up my music catalogue on YouTube.. or watch the wedding party movie. Whenever Gifty does make it home, she will have the opportunity to do the same.
