As 'ponzi schemes' made an epic surge into the Nigerian cyber space in 2016 and inadvertently dominated the discuss in the public domain; there has been a sky-high uproar and condemnations following the alleged shutting down of the foremost MMM scheme which clearly amassed the patronage of about three million Nigerians who believe its a way 'out of ' and living above economic recession as it were.
However, the founder of Mavrodi Mundial Movement (MMM), Sergey Mavrodi has pened down an open letter particularly dispatched to Nigerian journalists whom he maitained are causing unnecessary tension cum panic in the country with “provocative and worthless articles.”
On his authority, Mavrodi affirmed MMM will be back by January as earlier stated, hence the rumour about the scheme collapse should stop.
The letter could heal many doubts and cases of pending suicides profoundly relegated.

“Dear journalists, “analysts” and all kinds of “experts”!Please stop using MMM to gain cheap popularity. Leave us alone and let us work without interference. I’m just astonished by your irresponsibility and cynical attitude. Interests of millions of people, your fellow citizens are at stake. Don’t you have any sympathy for them? Why are you fueling hysteria around MMM and provoking a panic? On Monday, December 12, Sergey Mavrodi wrote to the Nigerian government, claiming that the scheme would never fail. Only for MMM to freeze users’ accounts a day later, promising to be back by January 2017. So, this writeup is clearly the second open letter Mavrodi has written in a week.
