200,000 Successful Graduates Selected For Federal Government Civil Service Job (N-Power) To Resume Work On December 1st; To Start Receiving Messages On Monday - FG

The 200,000 graduates, who were shortlisted as first batch beneficiaries of the Federal government N-power programme will resume work on December 1. This was made known by the Presidency on Sunday after shifting the timeline during which it plans to employ these youths for a second time.
The Federal Government had earlier promised the employment scheme would start in October. The Vice-President, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo was recently quoted as saying the failure of the government to engage the graduates in October as promised was due to the need to get the required equipment.
While assuring Nigerians that the graduates would be engaged “in the next two weeks.”
Be that as it may, there are indications that the graduates would not start work up until December 1. This comes on the authority of the statement issued on Sundayby his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande.
Akande revealed while the 200,000 graduates were selected about two weeks ago, their names had been sent to state governments and the Federal Capital Territory who would deploy them to their specific programme assignments.
The Vp's media aide also affirmed the beneficiaries’ names would be published this week on the N-Power internet portal, they would start receiving messages informing them of their selection from Monday.
